Meeting - 12:15PM Kathleen Premer, Executive Director of the Oceana County Council on Aging, will have a major announcement about a new program coming to the Pentwater Friendship Center in October. Highway Pickup 8:30AM, meet at Lakeside Restaurant at 8:00AM.

Hosting Hart Performing Arts Program We need 2 ticket takers, 4 ushers, and people to donate or make cookies, brownies, and other desserts.  We also need some donations for the apple cider that we serve following the performance.

The Service Club will provide Salvation Army Bell Ringers on Friday December 21 and Saturday, December 22 in front of the Pentwater Post Office. Sign up on Thursday, December 13.

Meeting - 12:15PM State Representative Goeff Hansen will be our speaker. He will talk about what issues he expects the State Legislature will work on this year.

Meeting - 12:15PM Jim Durand of Durand Wine Company will tell us about all the exciting activities happening during Winterfest on February 9th and 16th.

Meeting - 12:15PM Jim Young of the Oceana Herald Journal will be our speaker. His topic is: "There are many ways to read the paper!"  It's not only printed on paper!!

Meeting - 12:15PM Mike Castor, owner of Air Fun Kites and President of the Pentwater Merchants' Association, will be our speaker. You will enjoy hearing his message.

Meeting - 12:15PM Nicole Schwarz, Resource Specialist for the 2-1-1 Information and Referral Advocacy Program, will be our speaker. She will have some exciting news to share with us.

Meeting - 12:15PM 60-minute documentary DVD titled "Nicholas Winton: The Power of Good." It tells the story of how one Brit saved 669 Czech children from certain death just before the outbreak of WWII, and it won the International Emmy Award in 2002.

March 20 Meeting - 12:15PM Mike Grove, who is here from Germany and is helping the Oceana Council on Aging with the Senior Service Program in Hart, will give us a demonstration of computer games on the "Wii" console.   This promises to be a fun program.

May 8 Meeting - 12:15PM Meeting at the Oceana County Airport, 1805 W Baseline Road in Shelby. Lunch boxes will be provided. Following lunch we will hear about the airport and enjoy a tour.  We will need to know how many members plan to attend.
May 15 Meeting - 12:15PM James and Michael Mundy, financial advisors at AXA Equitable, will present "Protecting Your Retirement Income."
