September
Sept. 10
Meeting - 11:30AM Topic: At our meeting we will decide on the cost of lunches for this year.

Service Club Meetings will begin at 11:30 AM in Room 315.
Following our meeting/speakers we will have lunch in the cafeteria/gym at about 12:30 PM.  This is the plan for the year.  We see how this works for our members. Room 315 will be open by 11:20 AM.  If you are coming just for
lunch, be there about 12:25.

Dues are now due for our club year 2009/2010. Bring 2 checks.  One for dues and one for the "Citizen of the Year Dinner".  The dinner will be $20 per person and is on September 17th at the Yacht Club.
Sept. 17
Citizen of the Year Dinner - 5:30PM at the Pentwater Yacht Club, $20 per person. Call Mike Flynn or Juanita Pierman for Reservations.
Sept. 24
Meeting - 11:30AM Jim Durand of Durand Wine Company will talk about local community service projects and what is new in the wine world.
Sept. 26
Fall Festival Arts & Crafts Fair 10:00AM-5:00PM on the Village Green. Duncan Wagon fundraiser.

Meeting - 11:30AM Our presenter will be Robert Gendron, Pentwater Schools.
Oct. 9
Hart Performing Arts - 7:30PM (6:30-6:45PM for ushers) The Service Club will host this performance. We could use 2 more ushers and we need a couple more members to bring a dessert for the "after glow" following the performance.  Desserts should be finger foods like cookies, sliced or cubed cheese and crackers, brownies, etc.  We are using a Halloween theme. Doors open for season ticket holders at 6:45PM.

Meeting - 11:30AM Our speaker will be Dave Hansen, new owner of Hansen's Grocery in Hart.  He will talk about the exciting changes that are happening in the store and their plans for the future. Double JJ is sending some brochures and special coupons due to Pam Brown's unavailability to present, as originally planned.

Meeting - 11:30AM Colonel Michael Thorsby will speak about his experiences in Iraq.  He is a native of Michigan and has over 28 years of service as a Marine Officer in active and reserve commands. Spouses are invited.
